The Roman Quarter in Colchester exceeded our expectations in every way. From the warm welcome with flowers, chocolates, and Prosecco, to the well-stocked fridge and attention to detail, everything was perfect. The apartment was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we could ask for, including a computer and TVs in both the bedroom and lounge. The location was ideal, close to the bus and train stations, as well as shops and restaurants. Martin, the host, was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely return to this excellent apartment.

We had a fantastic stay close to the town center and nearby attractions, and we really appreciated the amenities including central heating, an iron, and a work desk.

I had a QUITE COMFORTABLE 4 nights stay in Colchester. Martin was the best host ever. Its location was excellent and stunning, 5 minutes walk away from Colchester Castle Park.

It was marvellous and brilliant in the middle of the city.

my recent stay in colchester was amazing, but my stay at roman quarter exceeded all expectations. the property was beautifully decorated, spacious, and had everything i needed. the bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a peaceful and restful sleep. the location was perfect, close to transportation and attractions, yet still peaceful.

Key was difficult to use.

I recently stayed at this centrally located apartment for my visit to the Castle and High Street. It was a perfect base, directly opposite a convenient car park. The apartment has been recently renovated to an impressive standard and provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Martin, the host, was readily available and incredibly helpful. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit.

The apartment is conveniently located within walking distance to popular attractions like the castle and high street. It has been recently renovated to a high standard and offers a range of amenities such as a fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Guests appreciate the personal touches, like milk and treats in the fridge and the availability of fans during hot weather.

Some guests experienced difficulty with the key lock, which could be time-consuming to open and close.

Loved the warm welcome we received upon arrival, complete with flowers, chocolates, prosecco, and a thoughtful card. The apartment was clean and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed and more. The fridge was stocked with milk and drinks, which was a great touch. The location was perfect, close to public transportation and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and attractions. we were thoroughly impressed and would definitely return.

We did experience some noise disturbances during our stay. The tenant living above us seemed to have a penchant for heavy walking and frequent pacing, which created quite a bit of noise and made it challenging to relax at times.

The nearest airport is so conveniently far away, like a mini adventure! And the train station and castle being within 40 km is great, because who doesn't love a good road trip?

Oh, I just love when I have to play detective to find parking! It adds an extra thrill to my stay, like a treasure hunt!
